I missed you like crazy!

Ok, I think I'm back for good this time... At least I hope so!

I have been waiting to post until I had something good to say, but I have been having a really rough time with everything, and my recovery is not going so well. I'm kind of scared because since my nose problems are s0rt of strange (non-allergic rhinitus), they weren't sure the surgery would help everything. Lately, I've had some of the same symptoms and problems that I had before the surgery, exactly the stuff the surgery was supposed to fix, so it's kind of worrisome... I'm supposed to give it more time and hope it will get better, but it's really frustrating, especially considering how rough the surgery was on me - I am still weak and get short of breath from it even though it's been a month!

So that means I'm still too weak to pick up a silkscreen, and that really stinks!! I have been missing making artwork so much, and I have been missing all of you and your blogs, Etsy, and all of the emails that make me so happy! I haven't been on the computer much at all, because I get depressed about it and feel like a huge part of my life (and happiness) is missing since I can't do the things I love so much. I feel so bad that I've been out of touch so badly, but I want to get back into the swing of things again and at least try to get on the computer more and maybe post some things I made before the surgery. Sorry to be missing in action for so long - I hope that doesn't make anyone want to stop being my blog friend! :) You guys really mean the world to me, and I can't wait to catch up on reading everyone's blogs.

The past week has been better - I am still low energy and tire easily, but I can do some crafty stuff, which I hope to share with you soon. I've been mostly concentrating on knitting and crocheting, since it doesn't take up too much energy and is really calming to do. Making things with yarn just has this really calming quality to it, and I really need it considering all of the stress I have been under lately! I have been working on learning to knit better for a looooong time, and I can finally say I have mastered the skill and am loving it and doing better at it than I ever have before. It's crazy, and I've been mildly obsessed with it since it's all I can really do creative-wise right now.

Since this post is totally devoid of pictures (how boring!), I thought I'd share some random and fun links with you:

Crazy-Awesome Rowan Knitting Patterns!
Buri Palm Tree Fiber Animals!
Shop Orange!
How to Make a Cute Makeup Bag! (I haven't tired this one yet, but I hope to soon.)

Ok, everyone - that's it for now, but I hope to be back very soon with some fun photos. Don't give up on me! I will be back in full force soon, I hope...
