Acrylics, watercolors, pens, and paint pen...
This was a drawing of a girl that I wasn't too happy with initially, so I painted over it a bit with dark brown acrylic paint.
I've been thinking a bit about imposter syndrome and how it relates to art... All those feelings of artistic self doubt and not feeling confident about putting my work out there sometimes...
I get "shy" - even on the Internet, lol.
Sometimes I feel like my art should be "better" and more technically accurate rather than just stylized and cute. I had traditional training in art school, but my current art doesn't really reflect that...
Then I realize I am overthinking it and should just make the art that makes me happy then maybe other people will enjoy it too!
Do you feel this way too sometimes?
What are some of the things you do to combat these feelings of self doubt?
Hope your Monday is going well so far!!
