Get Messy Art Journal 03 - Summer's End / Keeping a Notebook

Here are my next two pages for the Get Messy Art Journal Challenge!  I decided to make the first page about the end of summertime.  I wrote down a few things that have been occupying our days lately:

For the second page, I used a great quote about keeping a notebook.  I love this quote, and I have really been loving my notebooks and sketchbooks lately.

Lately I have been thinking a lot about my notebooks - the art journals, the sketchbooks, the writing journals, and everything in between...  I am so in love with filling up the pages of a blank book, and I love looking back on all of the pages I have already filled.  Seeing the books lined up on my shelf makes me feel so happy.

I hope you are having a great week!  Don't forget to spend some time with your art journals or notebooks sometime soon. :)

Get Messy is an art journal challenge where a gang of crafty vixens are sharing art journal pages we have created to practise our skills and push past our creative limits with hopes to inspire. We share our pages without restraint every week, and once a month we create around a prompt. Go check out these crazy talented ladies who are creating pages who each have a unique perspective and style. We will be sharing our work around social media so follow the hashtag #getmessyartjournal.
